OUR HISTORY

In 2001, LaFace & McGovern pioneered the Lighting Controls ‘Focused’ position, anticipating the growing need for dedicated controls expertise to support our customers. Since then, our department has continually expanded to meet the industry’s evolving demands in technology, education, and service. We’ve strategically grown our Controls Team over the years to ensure we remain a valuable resource in an ever-changing market.

Valerie has been with the company since 2013, focused on lighting controls solutions, technical expertise, and exceptional customer support. Outside of work, Valerie enjoys time with her family, along with playing tennis & being outdoors.

She studied Technical Theater with an emphasis on Lighting Design at West Virginia University, and later obtained an MBA from Point Park University. She enjoys reading, crocheting, and spending time with her husband, Ken, and two kids.
